The Tesla Wardenclyffe Project is the result of an initiative set in motion in the late 1970s by the Tesla Memorial Society (TMS) to preserve Nikola Tesla's historic Wardenclyffe office and laboratory building. In 1995 the Tesla-Wardenclyffe Project Committee of the TMS was reformed as the Tesla Wardenclyffe Project, Inc. Its founding Directors were Ellen Sherman, Ljubo Vujovich, Margaret Conover, Chris Bach, and Gary Peterson.
MISSION STATEMENT The Tesla Wardenclyffe Project is a non-profit corporation committed to the preservation and fitting use of Nikola Tesla's Long Island laboratory. We aspire to meet with the expectations of the local community and the scientific and engineering communities at large.

The Principle Office of the Tesla Wardenclyffe Project, Inc. is located in Breckenridge, Colorado.
The Friends of Science East of Long Island, New York and The Tesla Wardenclyffe Project have developed a cooperative plan for the re-adaptive use of Agfa's Peerless Photo Products site, also known as Wardenclyffe. The plan is based upon a common vision that has been developed to establish the Tesla Museum and Science Center at Wardenclyffe. In addition to modern science center facilities, the Tesla Science Center will house the Nikola Tesla Museum, Library and Historical Archive, all structured to encourage an awareness of Nikola Tesla's engineering legacy and to instill visitors with a greater interest in the sciences.
